abandon normal devices

Today I trawled around Manchester to see bits from AND (abandon normal devices, you may have seen posters for it in the city centre), a festival of exhibitions dotted all over. Exploring and finding these little gems tucked away really made me appreciate being so close to such an art community. 

Among what I saw was a space for MOGA (museum of glitch aesthetics) which was like being in a strange digital world. More information on this can be found here.

Sadly I think today was one of the last days to see most of the festival, but I think Stanya Kahn's exhibtion at The Cornerhouse is on until the 16th of September.
